Inventory Planning and Replenishment Analyst
Summary: The IPR Analyst is responsible for supporting inventory planning, product lifecycle management, SKU performance analysis, and supply chain operations across multiple product lines. This role ensures optimal inventory availability, drives data-driven decision-making, and collaborates cross-functionally to improve product flow and supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, experience with inventory management principles, and the ability to translate business data into actionable insights.
Compensation: This salaried, exempt position pays from $70,400 to $80,000 per year. The estimated annual pay for new hires generally ranges from $70,400 to $80,000 or more, depending on experience, education level and annual bonuses.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the supply chain for multiple product lines, ensuring optimal inventory availability across all warehouse locations.
- Analyze inventory performance and oversee inventory flow through demand planning, forecasting, replenishment planning, reorder point management, expedites, deferrals, diversions, pricing analysis, and receipt tracking.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate accurate Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) schedules using project management tools.
- Manage the complete product lifecycle, including new product introductions, product promotions, SKU rationalization, discontinuations, and product close-outs.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Operations, Product Management, and Sales teams to optimize product movement and inventory availability.
- Prepare regular supply chain and inventory performance analyses, providing actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct post-project and forecast accuracy analyses by comparing projected demand with actual performance, identifying variances, and recommending process improvements.
- Generate reports and dashboards to support business decisions using Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
- One (1)+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, product management, business strategy, finance, or another quantitative business function.
- Knowledge of inventory planning, replenishment concepts, supply chain management, and product lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with import operations and product management principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational data structures.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
