MSI, North America’s Leading Supplier of Premium Surfacing Products, announces the remodel and enlargement of its Kansas City Showroom and Distribution Center located in Lenexa, Kansas. Continued increase in demand for MSI products prompted the remodel and expansion, which is one of several MSI has planned for 2019.
Sanjay Sanghvi, MSI’s Senior Vice President, says, “When customers enter our Kansas City facility, they’ll enjoy a premier shopping experience—one that brings affordable luxury to life in curated displays and vignettes featuring today’s most sought-after surfaces.”
Enhancements to the showroom include the installation of LED lighting to improve the product selection process, new display fixtures showcasing a greater variety of MSI surfaces and sinks, and a larger, customer-friendly consultant desk.
Customers browsing the modernized facility are inspired by hundreds of floor-to-ceiling displays featuring best-selling products such as wood-look planks, natural stacked stone, and MSI’s innovative EverlifeTM Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) Collection—which is a new introduction to regional customers. Against the backdrop of MSI's vast line of products, the expanded 5,600 square-foot showroom includes a revamped slab gallery kiosk to enhance the shopping experience and a large flat-screen television showcasing product bundles not displayed in the gallery.A state-of-the-art climate controlled QTM Natural Premium Quartz gallery was added to the main showroom. Additionally, a new warehouse was added to house millions of sq. ft. of flooring options including porcelain, ceramic, LVT, mosaics, and natural stone. Expansion carried through to the slab warehouse as well, and additional overhead cranes were installed to improve operational efficiency. The Kansas City Showroom and Distribution Center offers the largest selection of quartz and natural stone slabs in the Kansas City area.
