Digital Marketing Coordinator
Summary: The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of email marketing and digital initiatives. This role is responsible for executing campaigns, setting up email automations, deploying email communications, providing monthly email marketing reporting, and designing creative assets for organic social media. The position ensures marketing communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with brand standards.
Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $25 to $29 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $52,000 and $60,000 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- CRM Email Marketing
- Execute email marketing campaigns from setup through deployment.
- Build and manage email automation workflows and associated communications.
- Deploy email communications according to established campaign timelines.
- Assist with audience segmentation and email list management.
- Ensure email campaigns are accurately formatted and optimized for desktop and mobile.
- Review emails for accuracy, including copy, links, images, CTAs, personalization, and formatting, before deployment.
- Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement.
- Provide monthly reporting on email marketing performance, including key metrics, trends, and insights.
- Maintain organized email campaign calendars and documentation.
- Supporting Digital Creative
- Provide creative assets to the Digital Marketing Team for organic social media posts.
- Develop graphics and creative content that align with brand standards and campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure creative supports current campaigns and messaging.
- Utilizing UGC for creative storytelling.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
- Two (2) years of experience in email marketing, marketing communications, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience executing email marketing campaigns and automation workflows.
- Experience using an email marketing or CRM platform, such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Klaviyo; HubSpot experience required.
- Strong understanding of email marketing fundamentals, including audience segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, calls to action (CTAs), deliverability, and performance metrics.
- Ability to independently build, test, schedule, and deploy email campaigns with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience interpreting email marketing performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, engagement, and conversions.
- Ability to create monthly email marketing reports and clearly communicate key takeaways.
- Graphic design experience using Canva; Photoshop experience preferred.
- Ability to create polished, on-brand graphics and adapt creative content for multiple digital formats.
- Strong creative writing and copywriting skills, with the ability to write concise and engaging marketing copy.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual standards across marketing communications.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow established campaign timelines.
- Comfortable collaborating with marketing team members and incorporating feedback.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and correct errors before campaigns are deployed.
- Ability to learn new digital marketing tools, platforms, and processes quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
