National Builder Project Coordinator
Summary: The National Builder Project Coordinator supports the development, execution, and growth of national builder programs across multiple regions. This role serves as the primary liaison between National Accounts, Branch Leadership, Marketing, and Operations to ensure successful program implementation, operational alignment, reporting accuracy, and long-term business growth. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple cross-functional initiatives while driving process improvements and supporting strategic national account objectives.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
National Builder Program Management
- Coordinate the launch and implementation of national builder programs in newly awarded markets.
- Introduce and onboard branch teams to national builder programs, ensuring alignment with program standards, expectations, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate strategic sample distribution to support new program launches and market expansions.
- Partner with Branch Leadership to assess market readiness and facilitate successful program implementation.
- Support contract execution, pricing alignment, rebates, product continuums, and program renewal activities.
- Monitor program compliance and ensure consistent execution across participating branches.
Builder Shows & Events
- Plan, coordinate, and execute national and regional builder trade shows, meetings, and partner events.
- Coordinate internal approvals, event logistics, booth setup and teardown, sample materials, tabletop displays, and meeting preparation.
- Document meeting discussions and distribute follow-up action items to internal stakeholders.
- Track and manage leads generated through builder events and collaborate with branch teams to ensure timely follow-up.
- Maintain Builder Tracking Reports and provide post-event summaries highlighting opportunities, risks, and recommended next steps.
Process Improvement & Program Execution
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, communication, and visibility across national builder programs.
- Streamline coordination between National Accounts and branch teams.
- Improve lead tracking, reporting, and sample distribution processes.
- Support resolution of startup challenges and program execution issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and program records within SharePoint and other internal systems.
Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain and update key business reports, including:

- National Builder Activity Report
- Master Crossover List
- National Program Rollout Tracker
- Builder Growth Report
- RFP, Program & Bid Tracker
- Analyze program performance and provide leadership with actionable insights on growth opportunities, risks, and operational improvements.
- Support forecasting, pipeline management, and program visibility across all regions.
Marketing & Sales Support
- Develop and update marketing and sales collateral for trade shows, builder meetings, RFPs, and national program presentations, including product catalogs, architectural binders, brochures, presentations, sample displays, pricing documents, and proposal materials.
- Partner with Marketing to ensure consistent branding and professional presentation standards.
- Support strategic positioning for competitive bids, RFP responses, and national builder program rollouts.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with equivalent education, demonstrated skills, and relevant professional experience will also be considered.
- Industry experience is not required; however, experience within the building materials, construction, homebuilding, or builder supply industries is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, reporting, and large dataset management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to create executive-level presentations and compelling data visualizations.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with SharePoint, CRM systems, reporting tools, or project management software is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies.
