Merchandising Art Coordinator
Summary: The Merchandising Art Coordinator supports national merchandising program development through the display and sample board production life cycle, and acts as a conduit for information and project deliverables between Visual Merchandising and cross-functional partners(Marketing Operations, Graphic Design, Production vendors, Product, and Sales teams).
Work Hours:Monday to Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $26 to $30 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $56,000 and $65,000 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Supports proofing graphic approvals for print-ready mechanicals and content accuracy to meet vendor deadlines.
- Supports the initiation and creation of display graphics and sample board design layouts display flyers, photography, planograms, POP materials.
- Maintains updated information and graphic collateral for sample boards and displays, including layouts, specifications, art files, vendor information, and inventory levels.
- Manages display and sample board photography tracking and scheduling calendar.
- Align with operations team, as you seamlessly work together to orchestrate the flow of incoming collateral to and from prototype area
- Assist reviews of prototype samples with a focus on product positioning, consistency of details and an understanding of design aesthetic intent for approval.
- Track progress of deliverables calendar, display launches, and project requests to ensure all executions are proceeding in a timely fashion and cascade approvals out to needed parties. Provide tracking updates to all stakeholders and work to solve bottlenecks.
- Supports internal field communication as needed (communicating timelines, project deliverables, and occasional field support)
