08/21/2003 - M S International, Inc. opens New 81,000 square foot Distribution Center in Edison, New Jersey


M S International, Inc. ("MSI"), a leading North American distributor of natural stone, today announced that it has opened a new distribution center in Edison, New Jersey. With 81,000 square feet of warehouse space and 5,000 square feet of office space located on 5.5 acres, the new location is approximately double the size of MSI's previous east coast distribution center located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The new location is in close proximity to I-287, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. The new facility will enable MSI to better serve customers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions

Kirit Shah, branch manager, said "with five overhead cranes covering the entire facility, a modern showroom as well as state-of-the art systems MSI will have the most efficient natural stone distribution center in the Northeast." Mr. Shah further added, "we believe that the new facility will enable us to maintain among the largest inventory of natural stone in the East Coast".
