Durability:

Fire Glass has a heat rating of1300 degrees Fahrenheit. This is well above the heat produced by a standard fire pit or fire place and higher than the heat rating of logs, lava rocks, or stones. It does not emit any toxic fumes, smoke, ash, or soot. The color is infused in the tempered glass process to ensure color stability.

Coverage:

A 10-pound bag covers approximately1 square foot x 1.25" deep.

Use Recommendations:

Fire Glass is the perfect way to enhance the look of a fireplace or fire pit, and delight visitors at the same time. Use Fire glass with natural gas or propane fire pits or fireplaces.

Care:

Little or no care is required after setting product. For an instant shine, you may sprinkle with water to remove dust.

Instructions:

1. For fire pit applications, we recommend an inch of sand or pea gravel at the bottom of the fire pit for a sturdy foundation.

2. Evenly pour fire glass over your burner. For optimal results, pour a minimum of 2-inches over your burner, which allows the gas to filter evenly through the fire glass – creating a beautiful flame.

Caution:

Fire Glass can be sharp and should be handled with caution. It is recommended to wear gloves and safety glasses while handling product.
